It is the component that decides whether your membrane lasts eighteen months or six, and it costs a fraction of the parts it protects. How do I know when to change it?

Falling output flow is the usual sign. On typical municipal supply, plan on a change every 6–8 months; on borewell or tanker water, sooner.

Do I need a bowl housing as well?

Yes — the cartridge sits inside one. We sell the matching RO bowl separately.
