About this product

Rust, dirt, sand and silt score membranes and wear pumps out early. The pre filter is a spun polypropylene cartridge that sits in a bowl on the inlet line and takes them out first. It is the component that decides whether your membrane lasts eighteen months or six, and it costs a fraction of the parts it protects. High dirt capacity, food-grade material, and a falling flow rate as its only maintenance signal.

Highlights

  • Removes dirt, rust, sand and silt at the inlet
  • Protects the membrane, pump and every stage downstream
  • High dirt-holding capacity
  • Spun polypropylene, food-grade material
  • Suitable for all types of RO purifiers

Common questions

How do I know when to change it?
Falling output flow is the usual sign. On typical municipal supply, plan on a change every 6–8 months; on borewell or tanker water, sooner.
Do I need a bowl housing as well?
Yes — the cartridge sits inside one. We sell the matching RO bowl separately.
