About this product
RO removes what is dissolved; UV handles what is alive. This barrel houses a germicidal lamp inside a polished stainless sleeve, exposing the full flow to UV-C so bacteria and viruses are deactivated on the way through — no chemicals, no taste, no by-products. The stainless chamber leaks no light, holds pressure, and fits inline on all standard purifier types.

Common questions
- How often should the UV lamp be replaced?
- Roughly every 12 months. A UV lamp keeps glowing long after its germicidal output has faded, so replace on schedule rather than on appearance.
- Do I still need UV if I have RO?
- They do different jobs. RO handles dissolved solids; UV deactivates micro-organisms. On tanker or borewell supply we strongly recommend running both.
