About this product

Everything else in a purifier exists to protect this part or to improve what comes out of it. The membrane is a spiral-wound thin-film composite element whose pores are small enough to pass water and reject dissolved salts, heavy metals, hardness and the great majority of what makes hard water hard. Wide compatibility with standard domestic housings, tested for Indian conditions, and packed in eco-friendly recyclable board.

Common questions

How long does a membrane last?
Typically 18–24 months on municipal supply. Feed water quality decides it: a good pre filter and a working booster pump are what keep a membrane alive.
Do I need a booster pump?
For a domestic RO, yes. Below roughly 5 psi inlet pressure the membrane under-performs and ages quickly, which is what the pump is there to prevent.
